Constantia is one of Cape Town's most leafy, green suburbs. The Constantia Valley is bounded on two sides by Table Mountain National Park and the southern gate of Kirstenbosch leads off the valley. Only 20 minutes from the City Bowl, Constantia is in the heart of a world-class wine route that includes some of the Cape's oldest wines and the Cape Winelands, including the farms of the Constantia Valley, are presently being put forward to UNESCO as a potential World Heritage Site.
Constantia is full of green belts and walking trails, including the Silverhurst trail with over 100 indigenous trees planted along the river. Historically, Constantia Valley took its name from the farm granted to Simon van der Stel in 1685. He apparently named it after Constanza, the daughter of his benefactor, Commissioner van Rheede.

- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
